| Cove hummer Ti frame 2006 2006 | Price: £850 | Dateposted: 27/04/09 20:33:37 PM | I am looking to sell my cove hummer 19 inch frame. I am living in South Africa at the moment but bought the frame just before I left in 2006. Will be in UK in june to visit my inlaws and will bring frame over then.
The frame was bought at Evans cycles Milton Keynes for £1450 and I built it up with xt, race face, hope and thomson. It has had very little , mostly dry dusty use here and not much muddy grimy use. I am not a hardcore/freerider type. No crashes. Do a lot more riding on road bike.
Reason for selling :I have now bought the new Anthem X frame from Giant and transferred most of my components.
The frame is the newer type made by the litespeed factory and Not the old sandvik type. It has the integrated gusset strengthener behind the headset.
So looking to sell the frame, xt chainset, thomson seatpost(no setback), xt front derailler, half of the hope headset still attached to frame (some bits of headset were lost by bike shop when they transferred the components.)
There are no dents, deep scratches or any problems that would discourage a reasonably discerning buyer, the left hand cove main sticker has become a little creased at one spot from washing, otherwise I can Guarantee that this bike would be a good bet for someone not prepared to fork out the 1400 odd pounds for a new one, plus about 200 for the other included bits.
