Hello you are looking at a 2005 Scott genius MC 40 Medium in very good condition I paid £1800 on the 12/5/05 and havent really used it much. since owning it I upgraded a few parts.

I put on Easton EA50 handelbars, Raceface Evolve XC stem, panaracer fire XC tyres(Tyres have loads of life left) , Azonic pedals that cost £50, bottle cage. It really is a very nice bike to ride IT has shimano LX / XT parts Mavic 717 front rim Sun DS2-XC rear rim Marzochi Bomber mx pro ETA with lockout. shimano disks with Dual control levers that also does the gears. Rear shock 125 mm travel via the very special TC air shock with 3 way adjustable (lockout, 65mm and 125mm travel available via the handlebar adjuster) The frame does have the odd stone chip but that is to be expected being a cross country bike Mechanicly The bike has no faults and rides like new
