Seconded. I've used stans for 4 years and not had a flat on the trail. It still puzzles me as to why more racers don't use it. I keep hassling my fellow adventure racers, but the penny doesn't seem to drop. It really pisses me off when they are in my team and puncture, theres no excuse for it, and I have to wait for them.
I've just finished Ironman UK which included 112 miles on a time trial bike with the lightest and thinnest tubular tyres weighing just 190g. I had 20g of stans in each Tub though and 5 miles before the bike finish I heard the dreaded psssss... Stans sealed it (dropping from just 130 to 100psi) and it saved me a good 5 mins in the race - and that was just the puncture I was aware of. Loads were puncturing including the leaders, go figure....
