Giant Bristol store opens

Giant opened its third brand store in Bristol on 7 November.

Marking the occasion a launch party including British trials rider and multiple World Record holder Andrei Burton performed stunts whilst riding his Giant Trials Pro bike with Giant staff on hand to talk about the new store and Giant’s exciting 2010 products.

Giant UK Marketing Manager, Collette Clensy, explained “Andrei’s performances were inspirational for the young crowd and got everyone excited for the evening launch. We wanted to give people a show to demonstrate just what can be achieved whilst riding a Giant bike.”

Giant riders were on hand to give the new store their seal of approval; Triathlete and Olympian Marc Jenkins and his partner, Olympian and 2008 World Triathlon Champion, Helen Jenkins, along with local hero and Cross Country Mountain Bike Olympian, and common wealth medallist, Oli Beckingsale.

After cutting the ribbon, Director of The Giant Store - Bristol, Paul Newman stated, “With our good friends at Giant we have created the ultimate cycle shop experience right here in Bradley Stoke and with the launch party we wanted to show the people of Bristol exactly what an amazing store we have to offer them."

The Giant Store - Bristol is open for business seven-days a week and is located in the lower mall at The Willow Brook Centre in Bradley Stoke. To find out more visit the Giant Stores website at www.giant-stores.co.uk.

Discuss this story

Has been open for about 6 weeks in practice.  It's about a mile from me in the complex with a Tesco Extra where I do my weekly shop.

Been in a few times go a new Track pump not the £75 one mind you which they had three of but the £35 one which I took the last of.  They still had £10 ones but they may be just as bad as the Tescos offering.  Also got some tubes which were cheaper than expected better than I would of paid online so good stuff.  Staff seam keen and helpfull

No it's not SB the Giant store is in L8 as its about 400 meters from my work

It was advertised in one forum as liverpool 1 or L1, and its the corner of the big hill that goes up to toxteth.

Opposite Cains Brewery,on the docks road, just past the Albert dock, and 400 metres from Nigels workplace.

Opposite Cains Brewery is correct, or next door to Leaf if you fancy a cuppa?

TBH its not really on the Dock Road as its at 29 Parliament Street. I have only been in there once as its abit of a sod to park near, though not as bad as Pembroke Cycles was (which went bust)
