The fourth running of White Style, the only winter mountain bike slopestyle event to be run on snow, takes place at Leogang, Austria on 30 January.

25 big name riders from around the world have been invited to take part in this unique once-a-year event, including last year’s White Style winner Trond Hansen. He’ll be up against the likes of Crankworx Whistler winner and Kona Clump team rider Andreu Lacondeguy, Nissan Qashqai Challenge overall winner Lance McDermott and Adidas Slopestyle winner Sam Pilgrim – some pretty stiff competition then.

UK interest will be represented by Lance McDermott, Grant Fielder, Mike Smith and Sam Pilgrim, all vying for a share of the €4,000 prize pot.

According to the organisers, “the whole track is not only shaped out of snow, but also pimped with some nice wooden obstacles.” The course will be located alongside the Schantei ski lift station, close to Leogang town centre.
