DT Swiss will sell that rear shock 190 x 50mm to fit any bike, I'd use the reduced sag/travel mode for likely 80% of my riding.

Its a jeyboy racing shock. Under normal use its probably higher maintainance than Emelda Marcos.

Hey the RP3's took 6months of abuse and still working which does amaze me to be honest.

I run my shock low on sag for increased pedal clearance and better climbing, so it would give me a DH mode for occasional use.



Podge, it'll be on the ID5 with Marz AM2 heavy forks and DH rims, don't worry I'm not going Gay like you, I mean Jey like you ofcourse :)

i was told by dtswiss that the shock was 165mm X 37mm

Hello Tom,

the eye to eye lengh of the shock is 165mm and the stroke is 37mm.

So you can use a standard 165mm HVR200 shock.

By the way: the bike is a rocket!

Because I can't find anyone to ride my 6F/5R inch bike along side me, so I can swap and choose.

Had the chance to ride one of these at the Rutland Water demo day. What a bike! Lovely low speed handling, good on single track, precise and fast handling without being twitchy and a comfortable ride. The position is fine for me, not too stretched. This bike could be the do-it-all as far as I am concerned. Only downside for me is the price - at £3800 I don't think it is £2000 better than the Giant Anthem 1 but every one has their opinion. The extra travel on the Spark should enable you to cope with more conditions though

I've heard mixed reviews, a lot of people seem to be having rather trivial, but very annoying issues with them. I've heard that they're light, but that's about all they've got going for them! Shame, I really want to want one!
