"Add to these some Stan's aluminium rotors..."

Yes - anyone who read the article!

Nice 'Jey' bike Nick. Didn't you want a pink or white one for de rigeur XC girliness?

That is a very nice bike.

How much did that set you back then Nick?

UR R XC JEYBOY

What happened to the Titus?

Looks like it needs a couple of pizzas to fatten it up a bit.

I think that is a fantastic looking bike and would be the bike I would buy if I had loads of money to spend. However - I would change the white forks - they look wrong.

Higher res pictures here. So annoying that Hotmail insists on compressing everything!

Yeah the white forks annoy me, I'm just not sure I can be bothered to get them resprayed!

The Titus is in my garage unbuilt, I must get round to selling it, I just decided it was silly to have 2 4" travel XC race bikes!

I've no idea how much it set me back, the frame was FOC for the season, the forks and much of the groupset came off my hardtail from last year, the wheels were a fair bit though!

It's scary fast to ride I'll tell you!

Very nice rig that......

not sure on the minimalist saddle though....

Yes nice kit shame about the frame.

Will this make you as quick as Liam?

:-)

The saddle's really comfy, was fine for 11 hours around Wales, I'd use it for a 24hr solo if/when I do one too!

It'll make me faster than Liam, but I don't want to show him up, so I'll stay in the sort-of-quick-but-not camp where I currently reside.

What's wrong with the frame? A Spark would be nice, but I didn't get given one of those! Having said that, I think the way the Specialized AFR shock works is fantastic, that's probably the quickest bike I've ever ridden.

that's probably the quickest bike I've ever ridden.

Some of the local "ladies" around here would put it too shame.

I actually like the white forks as you have white decals on the frame it goes well IMHO.

That is shockingly tart.

I'm sure I'd break one though if I had anything like that.....

And by shockingly tart, I mean that in a kit weenie hard on kinda way.....

Whats yer comments on a Turner Nitrous Nick. Mate has built one up and it seems to fair pretty well against yours in the weight stakes + 0.5lbs whilst still being alu & having more trail ready components.
