can any of the organisers, or last years transwales riders comment on bike security measures.
do they have a secure compound like transrockies/transalp or am I lugging a bloody great lock around with me.

Hi
I done the Trans Wales last year and will be driving up tomorrow to do Scotland.
There are no secure areas for locking bikes, Last year I had a support crew (the wife) so we could put the bikes in the van, this year, no such luck so I'm taking my motorbike chain and lock, and hoping we are as remote in Scotland as we were in Wales and that there are no thieves about !!!
