Aaron, that's an interesting write up. It's a great way to bag yourself an amazing bike.

I was recently in the market for a similar bike myself (new for me, I'm not that mechanical) and wrote up a review of the Intense 5.5 EVP I tried on my blog. People might also find it useful?

I eventually went for the Orange Five - it just seemed to suit me better but it was a close thing.

yeah ive held the carbon lowers of those paces and they are beautufully stiff and light, true works of art

its just a pity that the fork internals seem to be absolutely useless (a friend had them; despite repairs servicing and all kinds of tlc they seemed to spen more time out of action than on teh bike)

come on dt swiss sort them out!

Yeah, my Pace's are sat in the shed still. I am running Vanillas at the moment which are longer and have pushed the head angle back slightly making the bike a monster on technical terrain. The bike is truely amazing, but I'm having trouble with the front end - it can be nervous and twitchy, too eager to face left and right and I don't know what to do! I might post a 'how to slow my bike' thread soon for some suggestions. Apart from that, the bike is riding perfectly now ;)
