i'm certainly impressed with the range. the enduro and gearbox bikes both warrant closer looking and some riding. we'll be finding out more at Eurobike at the end of the month

Need a reporter for Eurobike?

But the gearbox bike certainly looks interesting! i'd be interested to see how it compares (price & performance) to a deraileur equipped equivalent bike.

Mike, normally gbox bikes perform great (Honda RN01G) - however price is high - there is only few hubs they can use (and they are well expensive)

but check this out! - soon to be in serial production!

ah, problem with the honda is that it basically uses a derailer in a box, as opposed to the suntour & rohloff offerings which are weird and bizarre

the honda does look nice though, what do you reckon on the rrp then? £5k?

price is not set so far - however i hear that it might be build on suntour hub instead...it might be a bollox

by the way karpiel had this prototype we were riding back home - it was great fun - it was built on old rohloff...kind of gearbox thing - it felt great in tthe air...it seems much lighter than normal mech bike (even if its same or almost the same weight)...

on dh & freeride bikes i suppose it's good, because the weight is a lot more central

but i struggle to believe that a karpiel can be called light!

hahahah well (you right here) at the time it was light - compering with other bikes we were building

i might be bit oldskool - but i prefer normal gears anyway - if something goes wrong at least i will know how to fix it...

Interesting that they have a bike called 'Enduro'.

Specialized recently had Giant change the name of one of their bikes as it had the word 'enduro'.

Might only count in the US though.
