I think your facts are a bit wrong there! its no 80 miles from Winchester to QECP. I think the Mini max is actually 35 and not 25 miles. Well done to the winners

The 80 miles bit was right, but for "Winchester" read "Eastbourne". The Mini is apparently 26 miles. Dave has been shot - we do not tolerate failure in this organisation

T'was a great event and although I only did the Mini MaXx it was an evening to remember.  Fog, owls, hills, killer frogs, burgers, badgers, rabbits, deer, glow sticks, whisky, snails and slugs.  To top it all those Trail Break guys do a top draw bacon and egg BBQ sanger.

Those new Exposure lights are rather tasty as well.  Thanks for my MaXx joystick prise and the piggyback battery was an additional bonus )

I entered that compo, didn't realise that entry in the event was part of the 'prize', (punishment??)

Bit relieved I didn't win now, would have cost nearly as much in fuel to get to the start as buy a light. Looks like a good event mind. Any chance of a write up for the mini MaXx, Tim?

Well i signed up for the forum and entered the comp while i was there and won!

Had mega problems with the bike and had to retire after around 30 miles in! But i would just like to say a big thank you to every one from Trail Break and Rory and Dave + those that i cycled with at various stages!

I will definitely see you next year with a solid bike.

You flukey sod! I've entered every blinking comp going on here, and haven't won so much as a BM sticker.

Part of the deal with the prize is to add some words into an article I think.  Will be email my contribution soon as I had a great night.  Oh, and we get a BM jersey to boot.  Top draw!

Nope, but tell me more!! (unless Grant from Downland Bikes is considered a lady now)

I had to duck off at 2.30am ish as I had places to be with the family and needed some sleep.
