Good call, Deli.

I enjoyed the event, but found the endless tarmac mind-numbing. There werent even any decent singletrack sections to break up the monotony. It wasnt really a "Mountain Bike" course.

I was nearly hit by a car coming back into Ruthin town centre, and crossing the busy A484 for hundreds of MTB'ers wasnt very safe either!

If you want a good mountain bike event try the Selkirk Merida. Very hard and technical.

Penrith I thought better than Ruthin.

Havent done the Builth ones............And I dont think I will!

Done Selkirk a few times and have always enjoyed, even last year in the mud and rain.

Builth is ok, its my local one (about 8 miles away) its easy but enjoyable all the same

You Lucky B'stard living 8 miles from Builth! I come from Southampton to do Builth, Ruthin and (Penrith is still to come)! You don't live next door the The Wheelright's Arms in Erwood do you?.....Now that really would be Lucky!!!
