Weather forecast is genuinely set for around 24 hours of sheet rain.. I am Stansing the mud tyres, fitting the fenders and unearthing every knackered old set of seal skins I can find..

Mudhem '08 indeed.

it was a bit slow to start off with, but when the rain came down, it stopped completely
come morning it was hella fast though!

i'm now waiting for sad bloke to bring up how i overtook everyone on a climb... on my singlespeed

Were you wheelieing (sp) this time?

nah, was clipped in, i'd rather not make a complete arse of myself by falling over backwards.

bikemagic were there, but curiously neither Mike or David were there...

They probably knew it'd rain again & got a cushy number testing bikes in Colorado or summat.

Didn't see you Mike but bumped into the Chocolate Teapot a couple of times.  Interesting event thanks to the new bits of track that turned into a landslide with the early morning 'shower'.  Never again!

Yep Mikey did infact pass a few people on a single speed, and very nice the bike looked as well, took some piccies, and if youre rider numbers, 2300, 2007, 2299, and a chap with white hair, i know who you are but not your number ,all wearing Bike Magic jerseys, pics will be up soon.

There where also a few lads on singlespeed and surprisingly they all got up the climb, for the first 3 laps, that i watched on the first hill,

Mike why where you not wearing a bike magic jersey!

Hey Mike! :¬)

How did you like it...? Was pretty good wasnt it? I loved the little step downs and the quick right hander  in the first part of the course...

It was great weekend!

Was nice to meet people from BM forum...

And now time to start hunting for photos

Why was i not wearing my bm jersey? saving them for the morning and the victory lap (which i then didn't do...)

Some of the downhills were quite good fun, but there were a lot of riders that needed some more practice holding us up.

curiously, there were people braking on the downhill leading to the long straight section, i just rolled down it and was still overtaking people
Mike Spence, is the guy on mm2008 007, actually a spy, or Dylans brother.
