We seem to have forgotton these key points at our lovely Brighton Race:
- Free beer from Harveys of Lewes - Organic Pieman selling nice food - 4 DJ's on rotation - Sensational Singletrack - After party in Brighton with Gary Fisher.

how much climbing is there ian?
Who cares about the climbing....he said "free beer"!
There's a good chunk with twow good technical climbs - there are 12 singletrack downhills! - We spent three hours honing the jungle section yesterday. Ian

 jungle section
in Brighton?
12 singletrack sections sound ace, can't wait
Fingers crossed it doesn't rain too much.
Ian Will the route change if it rains heavily between now and midday on saturday?
Nope but the tyre choice just might! Most of it will run great we hope regardless.
Its nice you kept it all in the park. When I first heard about it I thought the course would have crossed over onto the Downs.Well done Ian,there are some very tasty sections in there. Looking forward to it.

Question: First time doing one of these for me. We're in a team of four. How many of the four of can be doing laps at once? Do we have to do it as a relay one team member at a time, or could we do it in two pairs etc? Thanks.

Hope everyone had a great day... the singletrack rocked - it was bone dry and the music was just right. Plus to have well over 50 drinking well after midnight in Brighton was a great thing for UK riding!! Thankyou!

Had a great day.The course was brilliant,so much singletrack to kick up the dust.Have to comment on how freindly everyone was,no matter who overtook there was always a thank of sorts.Hope this becomes an annual event,Brighton needs it. Thanks to all who organised a great race

The guy that did a 28min lap, very inspiring but you are a machine. My quickest was 42
No shame in 42 mins lap, slightly quicker than my best ...
Next time I will do some form of training.Saw one BM jersey rider doing the solo I think, who was that?Didnt get a chance to say Gday as you were always on the move.

That was me quinny What an absolutely fantastic course, easily one of the most fun in the UK - the singletrack was just epic, the only reason i kept going out for another lap was the thought of riding those super silly fast sections of singletrack. Nice one Ian We were damn lucky with the weather, nice to ride in such deep dust but it did make some of the corners a little tasty. Had a few front wheel washout moments...
Well Gday David. The ruts kept getting deeper, the dust was like talcom powder.Superb
Hey Dave - missed you there (I was spectating) but well done on the result - fantastic weather, and seems everyone had a great time!
Hi Neil, didn't spot you either. But that's probably because i spent most of my time sitting in the back of my car eating food between some leisurely laps
