Specialized hasn't just been working on new bikes. It's got new wheels, tyres, optics and much more

1.35kg for the front wheel? surely not

also, the big picture doesn't work for the roval sl.

N.B. The current Roval Controle E5's are fantastic wheels!

I never even considered shoe weights before reading that article. In fact I don't recollect ever seeing weights of shoes quoted before. But I happened to be reading this on the laptop in the kitchen...   so...   just weighed my Scott World Cup shoes (which are pretty racey and I thought would probably be light) on the kitchen scales and the pair weighed 1100g for a UK size 10.

That's about a pound difference in weight over the S-Works shoes which I guess if you're a weight-obsessed XC racer - which I'm not - is quite a saving.

Well there you go. You learn something new every day.

any chance of getting the big pic of the roval sl's working? i'm really interested, especially in the carbon hub, if it's disc brake!
