It adds niche-ness to the record in case anyone tries to beat it. Unsupported on a singlespeed rigid bike WITHOUT a helmet.

Yup, I left my helmet at home - still, with an average speed of 8mph though it's probably riskier running for the bus.

Plus I had an awesome bug collection to comb out afterwards!

Sharon Laws is still the fastest girl then - I rode the Double with her in 2006 in 23.5hrs.
