Nice Magura hydraulic rim brakes too - I remember them being the cutting edge...and thinking discs would never catch on

That's a very fit bike!

Magura rim brakes, I seem to remember them operating something like 'nothing, nothing, nothing FACEPLANT!!!!' or it could just have been that I used mine with ceramic rims...

Those Mythos are kind of period. Stop putting it off, get out there and ride that bike! You'll not regret it. No hardtail touches the ride of a real Klein. I don't know how you have the self control to not be out on it every day!

(I've got an XT front mech that'll fit if that will persuade you to get those wheels dirty).

I think amber side wall's are utterly gorgeous...why don't they make them any more?

I know where there's a set of biscuit Tioga Psychos...

Of course, by now they are completely unrideable

How about we work out a deal for the front mech, and as part of it I'll send in some pics of the bike being ridden in anger??

How about I buy the mech you give me the bike and I'll swap it for a pair of white porcupines?

How about if I throw in some mint sauce stickers and 'that' orange jersey?

Well if we're bartering I'll send you an orange Bontrager merino wool sweater vest, Fuquay baseball cap AND a signed Mint Sauce poster. Signed by Jo Burt. not mint. Obviously.

PM me your address and I'll drop the mech in the post to you

Your all very generous in you offers, but I couldn't bring myself to part with it...  Unless it involved a very nice road bike...  Maybe!!
I've got some Klein Deathgrips lying around. They are the more modern re-release fitted to my Palomino so a fatter carcass and gripper compound than the originals, but still superlight and paper thin. I suspect deathgrips were the original tyres on that bike.

I think they might look bloody marvelous on the bike...  What are you looking for?

There yours if you want them, but there are a few holes in the sidewalls.

I'll dig them out for a closer look later.
