 Mmmlubbalubbalubbammmmmmmmdribble.
I think it's fair to say that I want one.

I'm surprised they didn't call the brown one 'Cola' or something similar, looking at the colour of it.

Rather than worrying about the cost of the BB, is someone gonna let us know how much the grease tool is gonna cost. When i clicked the link for the CK video it didnt look like it was just a normal grease gun £100 BB + £100 tool anyone?
two tools, one to remove the top hat and one to do the greasing.
err, tools included didn't it say??? iirc aspirevelotech have them for abot $120... so £70ish to import. almost tempted to go back to HT2 now...
It said TOOL so could be both, definately the grease gun though. I am tempted to go HT2 myself, if only so I can change my grease viscosity depending on where I'm riding!! Pump them with grease monthly say and they should last near enough for EVER so bargain!!
Hmmm, missed that about the tools. If so then sounds good

The fitting cup won't be available until a few months after the release of the BB (I'm guessing you can use an ordinary Shimano one in the mean time) so I assume it's the grease gun that's included with the BB.

I use these puppies (the PWX05) in all my HTII when the stock bearings fail.

Yes folk you heard it here first - Dylan referring to CK stuff as a bargain

Certainly the only product release I and most people I ride with have been waiting for for number of years. I have 25,000 miles on my King headset. I assumed there would be ceramic one and that when King made one it would say KING in big headset style letters on it!!! great news but where be those letter and light bearings?

Fitting cup should be available sometime in the next 4 - 6 weeks, same with the grease gun attachment. Aspire are listing it at $129 BB only, fitting tool will probably be about $30 and I'd expect grease gun fitting to be about $60 - $80. All up a bit of a bargain for something that is going to last you so long.

Hmmmm, does it not remind anyone of the WTB grease-guard headset. If so that was a major pile of poop. I hope the seals are somewhat better than they were on these headsets considering they will get a much harder life. Take for example, if this thing has enough room for grease to escape when purged, doesnt that mean peaks grit can find its way inside

Insert Wit that ends up at nearly $240. Thats a lot of cheapo SS Bottom Brackets.

I think they are going to be a disaster, in designing them for re-greasing they are making them vulnerable to water penetration, to avoid the consequences of that they will need to be re-greased on a weekly basis, if not more often. Who wants to be removing the cranks on a weekly basis to re-grease BB bearings?

When was the last time that CK released something that didn't work as they claimed?
