Congratulation Lydia !

I am having a go in May, The more times I read of others doing the double the more I cant wait to have a go. I am aiming for a sub 24 time, I dont know how realistic that is though

This weekend I am doing my full all nighter run, 8pm till after sunrise. This should give me an insight as to what thats like.

Lydia,

Fantastic write up, could i be really cheekey and ask you your age??, I know you must never ask a lady her age but...

Well done, Lydia - especially given the conditions!

And good luck Bob - you'll have a shorter night in May than you do now, and the forecast looks good for this weekend (maybe a bit cool late at night). Let us know how you get on!

Hi everyone, great to get some feedback on my ride and article! Both were hard and took ages! I m 52 (serge) and still feel mentally and physically great (but HATE early mornings!)

I think mentally you get tougher with age, I think I would have packed it in before Eastbourne when I was 30, plus I had loads of emotional issues then. Now I just think about cakes and beer/wine!

Mistakes    starting too quickly, pressure to try for 24. I ll do it quicker next time, you live and learn.

Good luck Bob for next May, just dont put yourself under too much pressure!
