You tell 'em, Serge. Lovely bikes.

Still waiting on some REALLY fat 2.5+ 29er tyres being available, before I build up a rigid 29er play bike.

Crikey, even more factors for the designers to have to build around - outrageous tyre size requests You could always do what Jeff Jones does and stick a seriously chunky tyre on a 26" front wheel which has the same outside dimensions as a 29" wheel.

the On-Ones 29ers should take 2.5 in the rear, biggest tyre in real terms is @a 2.35 currently though. a 4" tyre on 32mm 26" internal rims would also make for a interesting play bike.

Dylan get the cash out the tyres you've been dreaming of are already here: clicky

Dry to moist? That'll be great in a UK winter then! Saying that my ITS System 2's are listed as hardpack and they didn't let go once on Saturday over Dartmoor.

Luke, been there done that and you can have it if you want it, USELESS tyre on anything other than hard pack, nice high volume but the low height knob's make the tyre ride like a slick. WTB Stout is almost as high volume wise, but with proper deep knobs that work on all surfaces.

The trouble with that bike is that I would really quite like one, but I'm not sure why!

If it helps they look nicer in the flesh than the photo's

They do look fantastic in the flesh. The finish on them is superb.

'USELESS tyre on anything other than hard pack, nice high volume but the low height knob's make the tyre ride like a slick.' rubbish... one of the best 29er tyres i've used. used them in all conditions, trail center, road, mud, snow/ice, fire road, rocks etc etc etc.
