I don't get it, wudn't u mix the drink b4 hand for a ride.. If u carry them with u, u'll hav 2 carry d water anyway.. I do in the mountains anyway. So I don't see having more than one canister for emergency with a camelbak less than half full or carrying an extra waterbottle.. otherwise I don't d point.

think, south downs way, 24hrs for both ways, if you carry them, when you stop and refill bottles, just chuck one in.

for stuff like that, they seem ideal

You can buy water, or use a tap, or a toilet, or whatever. Makes sense to me.

Isn't this a mountain bike website, I tend to be in the countryside with little access 2 corner shops or tap water.. It seems rather limiting for general use but that it will come in handy in certain situations as mentioned already.

I agree, you do need to be prepared, but in the majority of circumstances, it's impractical to carry all the water you need

Indeed if you have access to water in a sportive or race then that's a pretty handy addition.

I prefer to carry my spare powder in a clear plastic bag - measured out with aforesaid scoop that comes in the big economical tub.

- Then if you breakdown you can sell it as coke and pay for a taxi from just about anywhere!

LMAO Excellent

Just wipe the coffee of the monitor a minute

I think the Torq thingy's are a good idea, and the way they are packaged probaly makes them easier to pack as don't need to worry about bursting a sachet.

If you're touring or out for a few days in the hills and your filling up from streams, like you said, in the mountains, then it's a good idea. Obviously don't foget your purification tabs.

I use loads of this stuff so tend to take a small 500ml water bottle with it in and have lines marked on the side of it. They are nice looking little cans though and pink grapefruit Torq is to me the best there is!
