That must have been pretty challenging in the dark - here in the lee of the Downs the rain woke me several times last night.

Drying out nicely now but somewhat of a headwind, here's hoping he gets a good time!

Just met Steve at the finish - What a hardman - rained on he came in at about 20 hours and 36 minutes. A hardman as upon remounting his bike to ride to his car he informed Rory, Jon and I that he would be driving for about 25 or 50 miles and then bivvying down in a field for the night.

The man is superhuman!!

At the end of every Polaris I have ever done, its always awe inspiring to note that Steve Heading has covered about twice the ground i have!
