...they come up with that thing! I'm sure it will ride nicely, but it sure is a dog in looks department.

'Angles' certainly seem to in for Marin
I like a sext sweeping line myself
I think they look quite smart
 Industrial chic...

at first glance a though what an ugly furker, but upon reflection theres something appealing to me.
but then i'm a recovering ex merin owner anyway.

 lets play spot the differnce
 The 'a' Luke.
The look seems to work better when it's scaled up to downhill size. The suspension design could well work better too. A bit of colour wouldn't go amiss. I quite liked early 90s 'fluo'.

ermm, ref the Quake, you would'nt want to get anything caught between that swingarm and the top tube would you, OUCH!!! That slicing motion makes me wince some what! also seems rather top heavy when everyone else is trying to get the centre of gravity low as...
I think its pretty good looking then again i like anyhting which looks complex.
I think it looks lovely...may even be getting one in Feb-ish time when it comes out ;)
compare this to thisnow bear in mind there was a trhead about how the e5 could be classed as not a bad looking whyte....
they are designed by the same bloke in the same little shed in Winchcombe afterall, so some sumilarity may accure i geuss, DOH!
yeah, but how can one thread say they look good, and another say it looks shocking?
gotcha, maybe they have a festish for carbon
how can one compare the Quake to the E5?
the rear of the quake IS ugly, whereas the E5 is a work of art, imo.
i cant see what the problem is, if it had rocky mountain or santa cruz on the down tube people would be saying `ohh such an innovation isnt it wonderfull` i like marins,i always have, always will, one day i might buy another one,or maybe a whyte, unless of course k2 start making good bikes again.
