No me either, though the side walls only lasted 3 weeks in the peaks so maybe the slash would be a better choice.

I have - I've got a 2" scar on the inside of my elbow to prove it!

Although in their defence, they weren't designed to be ridden on-road. :)

Recently been trying out some Conti survial protection 2.1 mud tyres.

Rode the Cli-machx and Llandegla both in dry and the Slash was great accept on the wet rocks. Have used it in the mud aswell and all seemed safe at the back end. I thing they are more of an all round tyre than a mud tyre

Germany must be muddier than I remember given the number of their tyres that are aimed at mud. They all suffer the same problem IME, it only takes riding to a few trails to wear out the centre of the tread. I still use them though, faute de mieux.
