lol, i remember doing that bodge years ago, when the front mech cable snapped. finding the right size stick can actually be tricky though

Yep, have done that one before as well. Was actually surprisingly effective, especially as a Swiss Army Knife allowed for a near infinite level of indexing for the front mech!

Without a front mech I find the chain just bounces off far too easily. So better to bodge if at all possible.
