Bloody nice saddle actually. I broke the Toupe on my S-Works FSR so bought another one as I already have one on my roadbike.

Those awful sharp corners on the back make it a road saddle and not suitable for serious off road cycling.

Try getting off the saddle and back quick, just when you need to be forward your Fcuking shorts hook up.

Never got confortable on a Spesh's saddle. John Wayne walked gracefully in comparison

Bent mine in the space of a month.

I've never snagged on my Phenom.  I did that on a Toupe, hence the reason I bought another one of these.

I have broken two Toupe saddles (both times at the thin bit where the hole is) which were both replaced under warranty no problems but am thinking of  trying this one instead when the Toupe breaks again. Or I have just put the Selle Itallia Signo on my SS and I have to saz it is the comfiest saddle I have used so far.

I have broken four toupe saddles, each bent on the rails, only weigh 12st stone, Specialized advised they arent to be used for Mountain Biking.

Despite them being used by the Pro's, guess they can afford to replace them.

Got a team SL Phenom last Saturday, fitted it in the morning, to the hardtail, bent a rail two hours later on one side, literally just riding along, sent it back to specialized as per the previous lot.

To date they have always replaced the broken saddles, so no problem there.

The phenom as per poster above is too wide at the back to get yer ass off quickly, much prefer the toupe.

Despite the problems I really like the feel of the toupe saddle and have it on all my bikes

However reading the posts above and my own experience seems to suggest a quality control issue somewhere.
