When I saw the article title I was planning to make a forum post along the lines of "in other news, Bell launches 'Pentium' helmet", but my thunder was stolen by the first line!

It really sounds like a new model for a new model's sake to me. Sounds like the only benefit to me would be marginally less pronounced "badger hair." Certainly not worth £100 to me.

Looking at replacing my aging & battered Animas & don't particularly like the fit of the new ones.  What should us folk with Giro-shaped heads do now?

*continues looking for old stock*

Not sure it's really local territory. CRC have a few

Only if you have a teeny tiny bonce though

I have a teeny bonce, perhaps I should have an E2 to compliment my 3 2Ds, 2 Decibels and an Atmos

Giro Zen is the greatest helmet ever made IMHO.  it fits me perfect likesay. so comfy that you can hardly tell you are wearing it.

Are they planning on meddling with it?

and why is everyone writing in 'bold' all of a sudden?

hmm including me.. what happens if i actually select bold?

BOLD

I see no bold!?

The Xen has it's place, but it's weighty and not particularly well vented, I didn't enjoy the one I tried.

I never thought helmet venting would make that much difference until I needed a helmet at very short notice and bought a £25 Giro Flume (yes, it's a kids helmet) jobby. Awful it was!

I remember the days when 8 vents was a lot. Helmets were rubbish then, though one of them did save my head.

I see bold too, most odd.

I see an old fella riding around here with a helmet on that must be 15 years old, just a lump of polystyrene on his head.  He must be warm under that thing.

I see no bold here.

It's certainly been a while since helmets have seen a leap forward of the scale of, say, actually having a shell on them

I've got an old spesh lid in the garage that must be 15 years old - it's a keepsake from a big crash that bent my bike

Got a nice new E2 on the way though

What colour did you go for Nobby?

Wait until getting off before removing helmet

Black of course - makes my fat head look smaller

and PMSL @ biker chick

You are the polar opposite to me then Nobby, I only wear white helmets.  I have a white Pnuemo that needs replacing but I don't like the Saros as much and the Atmos doesn't come in white so it looks like an Ionos is the only choice

Email me if you wanna know where to get a good deal on end of range ones
