Thanks for showing us your Hei-Hei it brought back many happy memories of riding mine before some thieving scroat relieved me of it(mine was about 92/93). I'm very envious. I wonder if we could start a campaign for kona to bring back the Hei-Hei.

Doug, it's a reincarnation of a section called "readers bikes", which was part of the magazine MaximumMTB.

Of course the more unusual the bike, or the more intricate the stories behind it, the more interesting the article.

But at the end of the day we're only here posting on BIKEmagic because we're all confirmed bike geeks.

If you don't like it, you don't have to read it.
It is a Ti frame Peter, and it's great! (Considering it's age). The only real downside is the geometry only suits 63mm travel forks.
