I can only assume that **** must mean 'PUSH' as this seems to fit and a young lady would not use any other sort of language. Anyway 5.30am seems a reasonable time to get up especially if it was a Sunday!

Agree?

Maybe get up and go home...no point hanging around there if there isn't a chance of any more action...may as well get back to your own bed!!!

I got there at 7.39am exactly. Another saddo maybe? But at least we'll be in the race.

It's not just sad it's damn rude.

Unfortunately, getting into the race is a bit of a lottery. The person who got there at 0530 is a very good friend and fellow team member, so, why so early? because Pat was kind enough to say we could turn up at that time (some of us still have jobs to go too)also we've done every race so far and didn't want to miss out on this one. Sad,old and happily in the race. It's a pity people always complain, but it doesn't matter,we're happy, Pat's happy knowing he runs a great race that is bursting at the seams with happy people, the sponsors are happy, in fact everyone seems ok about it, except Anne, and whats the point of a 24hr race if you can't be up at that time? Besides, being a mourning person, 0530 isn't early at all.

It can be difficult to sleep after a loss...
