i don't think so somehow!!!!!!!!

Well it is the same price as the Stadium so it's obviously not an unreasonable price for the technology.

For £300, and for that matter £160 for the less expensive Lumicycle lights, you would have thought more effort might be put into a battery pack that did not slide along the downtube and pull out the light/battery connections.

Anyone else have this problem or am I being incredibly stupid in the way I have attached my system to my bike?
i to have had this problem, in fact now that they have changed to the staps on the bag i can`t even get them through the clasp's.
But lumicycles are replacing my battery for a bottle mounted one, which should make life much easier.

How about mounting the bag on the top tube and putting one of the straps in front of the cable bosses. This only gives about 1/2" of movement on the three bikes its been on so far.

put a bit of old road bike innertube round the straps. They're rubbery so the thing doesn't slip and they protect the frame.

Front strap in front of cable stops does the trick here.

I have never had a problem with clasps not fitting or bags sliding along top tube, my cable stop takes care of that, as does doing the straps up tight.

I do however suffer from connectors that fall out continuously, when I have my lights on the bars, but it's no problem when on my head. Hopefully they've sorted this out.

Mike, do you know if you can get a helmet mount for the new lamp? Just curious....

Not sure about helmet mounts. I expect it'll be on the Lumi site if there is one.

Helmet mount? These things must weigh a ton and you're going to shove it on your bonce? You must have a BIG neck! :)

excellent lights, no problems so far. who needs lights with 1 to 1.5 hour burn time?

Much better lamp unit than either the Stadium or Light&Motion Arc. The beam pattern of both of those are so wide that most of the light is wasted illuminating the sky, trees, etc. leaving only a thin scattering of light on the trail. The tighter beam pattern of the lower power Lumicycle units means that the usable light is actually better and the battery pack is smaller and lighter.
My Arc has sat on the shelf since I got Lumicycle HIDs - been using them for 3 seasons now.

Not much point comparing it to a stadium as you can't even get parts for it let alone light. But then this thread is over 3 years old !
