Got to second that article, did the trip a couple of years back and it was blinding. It's easy to be suspicious that these articles are advertorials.
Exodus did a great job, brilliant riding and support getting you out to places that you wouldn't see if you just rocked up with a bike and tried to do it yourself.
Slick rock, double track, and the last days ride is an absolute epic.
Pack lots of patches though, if you are an aggressive rider you are going to get punctures.
