 yes this is probably one of the best mtb vids available at the moment, it equals the great Sprung series

the new world disorder/kranked vids are great for the level of insanity, which is stupidly high
but the music they use always sounds the same, just personal preference i guess

are there any decent XC dvds?
I need to try and inspire some of my friends to get into biking.
No crazy stuff, just XC with Alps background etc, singletrack, forests, sunsets, mountains etc etc.
Anything like that or is it all more extreme?

 I like NWD vids, if only for the brilliant camera work, and working out how they get some of those forest shots. I do prefer the sprung type soundtrack though.

 DIRT. Has to be.(yes i'm being old skool!!).
The new dvds NWD and a like are great.(thanks for loan mike),but for sheer motivation to get me out on my bike DIRT wins hands down.Even though my own riding has moved past the level of this video.

 For what it's worth, I think the opening sequence to NWD3 with BC/DC is pure class (especially Gracia's bit).
Sprung series was pretty good too
