How can they charge £100 for anodising? Sure, the price cuts are good, but things like this still show we're getting ripped off in this country.

You could get it custom anodised yourself for less than that.

Well I reckon I could sell you all the chemicals and most of the basic equipment to set up your own anodising plant for not much more than £100, excepting the fact several of the chemicals used in anodising aluminium are toxic.

You can anodise titanium with shower cleaner and a 9V battery. Seriously.....

Problem is...that is requires a vast amount of electricity and alot of nasty shit.

I would have thought it NO more expensife than powdercaoting though, once everything is set up. Its just SC making an extra hundred quid.
