Nice article Andy, not sure how it'll go down with sun-deprived, rained upon Brits though...

So would the 'best bike in the world' be your Epic by any chance? < sigh >

And do you expect us to believe that you got through the river crossing without incident? :-)

LOL nice story Andy but we all know stories about riding in sunshine are all a bit far fetched.

;-)

Maria don't you have your Epic yet?

Rode a lot in Spain when I was last at La Manga, happy trail memories.

i had a great ride in Greece once ;o)

Dan
as much as i enjoy a nice dry and dusty trail, i have to say that ive had a great sense of satisfaction lately when ive been out on the muggy trails.

the achivement of actualy getting the bike out side after sitting looking out the window at the cold grey skies is great enough, but once im out there riding through the mud and muck im actualy enjoying cutting through the gloop.
infact im enjoying the cool air and even at times im grinning like an S&M fan when the rain starts to come down.

come on god, bring it on :)

Dry and Dusty Trails, yep 2003 was a good year, shame 2004's just been Mud Mud and More Mud, oh well.

Anne, nope, I haven't, I'm still saving up: big house move (I think I told you about that, right?) has eroded the savings...

Also got husband's b'day coming up, so gratuitous spending will have to be on him this month.
What about your France trip, anything worth writing up there?

maybe but I don't have very good discipline to sit down and write articles.

I'll try but not promising anything.

hmm, birthday, christmas, house move, I can't see a bike in there in the near future. :-(

I've been meaning to write up my Finale Liguria trip with pics. Must do that soon.

Know that feeling.

Yup, situation in some ways not good, but there is a rather large silver lining.

Maria, yes, you've guessed it, I was talking about my oh so beautiful Specialized Epic (which has done very well out of the recent move and now lives in the lounge!)

Fabio, don't worry, I wouldn't dare try and say there are bulls or anything on our beloved trails around Como, you did forget to mention the chocolate cake though. How you rode that climb after eating such a big piece last time out I'll never know!?!

Have fun on the trails everyone, A

Don't worry too much, it's raining and cold in Madrid at the moment.
