Beautiful!

When can we expect one of these at the start of any trail head.

If there was, chances are I would never actually get out on the ride .... and watching a mountainbike vid just before the start of a ride - chances are, I would end up in a full body cast ;-]

Does look great doesn't it.

I'd probably just end up sitting there all day too.

Not too keen on having my aweful riding style and c0ckups beamed directly back to the laughing crowds

Wouldnt the money be better spent on trail maintenance/expansion?

IIRC (and i may be wrong) doesnt money from the caf's at these places go somewhere other than towards trail maintenance?

I may be totally wrong but if not, i'd rather have quality trails and take my own sarnies

I don't know the answer to your question Dave and I am always for better and ever expanding trails.

But I think this type of development is important. It makes Mtbing more attractive to more riders and it goes hand in hand with further (trail) developments.

Similar to the way skiing facilities make way to more skiers, making way to more trails (more lifts) etc. I see it all as an important part of the cycle (excuse the pun).
looks fabulous - I'm off there on Sat to check it out.

Was there last Sunday - superb facility, which together with the trails make it a place worth going back to again and again.

It's so much better driving home when the bike is already clean(ish), you are already clean(ish) and you've refuelled on home cooked chilli, chocolate sponge and coffee.

my thoughts exactly. its so nice to able to shower after a ride rather than muck up the motor. the mushroom and garlic soup needs work though !!!!!
1. It need two doors - "Drop Off" and "Fall Off"

2. It's been said before - it's all good if the MTB facilities show some sort of very measurable economic return. This may be small but its very direct and because of the super good accessibility of Afan Argoed, direct trail head facilities are about the only way you can make the link.
