What, a whole hour gone by and I haven't been inundated with whinging, I mean bugs, you guys are losing your touch.

 Will this mean we can now use the 'My event ratings' button found on a users homepages?? Or is that something different again? I can't find where you can rate an event you've been to.

Yes, it does. If you click on an event for the details it's right at the bottom.

It's a bit amateurish with lots of spelling mistakes and incorrect details.

The details are mainly supplied by the organisers themselves, others are taken from their event websites.

 I just went on to put some more of our stuff up and found that you had already done a load for me! Thanks Maria, I owe you a big cookie or donut or similar.
I've just been making a few tweaks and corrections and will be adding a few more events too. So I now owe you TWO big cookies or donuts or similar.
Other than that, when I try to add a second price band to a new event (using Firefox) I lose the 'continue' button and can't complete the listing. I haven't tried it in IE yet, it may just be a browser specific glitch.
Nice system though. We plan to make good use of it.

Yup, it's browser specific, I have the same problem with Safari. I'll tell teh tech guys, thanks for letting me know. It works fine on IE though.

 Not sure if it's a bug, or it's meant to be like that, but you lose the "Gallery" tab once you've done a search. Not exactly important, but it's always nice to have something to complain to the developers about. :)

For the sake of Navigation events (and 24hr races etc. I guess) could the 'distance' option be made 'distance/duration' and have time units added to the options?
I have put one of our weekend breaks in there, but I'm not sure if this is meant for them or whether they should just be in Holidays. Do you have a preference for this?

Also noticed on one event,the soggy bottom series Newnham park devon you can't enter on the day OR pre-enter?? You can actually do both.
Also, interesting way to list the counties!

yes JD is right and I can't change it as I need to apply for admin rights - which I did yesterday on an automated email to runnersworld!. Also ratings system says how many runners would do this event again - my guess is not too many.
Good to have it though, wish i'd responded to mike's email now about ironing out glitches

 How about a list of upcoming events on the page rather than dropping directly into the search box?
That way I can see what's coming up in the next few weeks instead of having to search. Tie it in with my preferences too so I don't accidentally enter a downhill race on my cyclocross bike again.
An RSS feed would be nice too.

 Martyn, you now own the Soggy Bottom races - click the "Manage my events" tab on the Events page and you should see them.

Thanks for the comments guys, I' think we're having a bit of a problem with things being overwritten, like the reference to runners.
Dave, gallery tab losing is definitely a bug, and I hadn't noticed it, thanks for pointing it out.
Milo, good point about naviagtion etc. I'm not sure whether we can do that easily or not, in fact suspect it will be a royal PITB but it's definitely a good idea and I think we should do it.
Alan, you can put the Welsh Jamboree in there yourself, member meet ups should be in there too, would help if the title marked them as a member meet.

tried that it comes with an application error and then returns me to the front page.
I really need to let people know they can enter in advance and on the day rather than neither!
