Totally agree with the first message. It must take some guts to give up a regular pay cheque.

I like the idea of getting the chance to buy a workshop's worth of tools at trade though...

Looks like Horace is just down the road from me and will be getting my custom, I feel i have to support the smaller shops in Southampton, hopefully they will have a better attitude than the larger ones.

Don't be too worried bout 2004s takings as it has been a bad year all over for the cycle industry but for our industry its up one year down the next..we started off small with buying a small family shop 11 years ago we now have 3 more larger and succesful branches

Get yourself into e-bay mate even if U are in the shop and no customers come in there is always a virtual community of ready buyers.
