good work to Mike Rose, sounds like the magazine is going to be a cracker.

hey i was just wondering whether we will now be able to see out favourite Xc lycra wearing riders in Dirt Magazine? This would truly be a major u-turn in corporate policy.

If so, I will definitely laugh my ass off especially when I read back through all those old Dirts with Tim March and his buddies gobbing off about how bent all us XC boys are.

Did they rate DMRs the best pedals? If they did I'll buy one the next time I'm in the UK.

Let's hope they've kept the same 'top of their game' funky design team, and hired an english speaking proof reader.

About time. I was wondering when someone would do a mag like 'Big Bike' from France mixing up all the DH/Jump/Freeride/Trail thing. My favourite bike mag, even if it is in French. Anything available in the UK is extremely formulaic by comparison with the exception of Dirt and Shred. I do hope the trip into the mainstream doesn't dilute the style though.

Best of luck Mr. Rose.

It's often quite hard to tell where the adverts stop and where the actual features start. Still, I enjoy flicking through it in the newsagents.

This made me laugh - when Future and 4130 had a little hissy fit in Media Week a few months back!

I liked DIRT before - I'm sure the changes will be great. It is quite international so has a lot of respect in the industry. Look forward to seeing how it looks.

All XC riders are 'bent'?

How do they know? I thought it was a secret...

I hope it stays the same, i used to buy mbuk and never like it, it looked crap, its a joke. Then I bought dirt and it blew me away, its slick, the photographs are why I buy it. Im only into to DH (mainly due to only having one bike at the moment) but if they start covering the other disciplines then cool, and im sure they'll do it in style, I bet they make every one look good and capture what its about. Hopefully no lycra though it does'nt do the sport any favours - gimp outfits should remain in the specialist magazines 

nothing wrong with a bit of lycra now and then!

i've only bought two copies of Dirt before, but really liked it. Bigger photos, a rather more mature attitude than MBUK and pretty good articles.

I'll be interested to see what the new style is like. The first edition has a free DVD so it will be worth buying at the very least
