No one seems to have picked up on the Brit renaissance in XC.. Kileen has started slowly to the season, but has come up against a strong challenge from Oli Beckinsdale... a 12th and a 17th .. a breakthrough for a rider usually about 70th... someone start bigging him up please!
Big Up to Oli !!

There ya go :O)
Must be the nandrelone taking effect...only joking ;-)

will we EVER see the world cup xc races on tv?????
because eurosport stopped showing them last year and showed the marathon race in cyprus this year which was boring!!!
why oh why is there no tv company willing to show the world cup races????????
i realise that for many people its not as exciting watching xc as opposed to downhill or 4x, but i for one love and miss it!!!!

I enjoy it too. It is such a shame we dont get behind the top level XC in this country. The report here had NO mention of the British Men or the fact Nicole Cook seems to have entered the fray. Last year I watched the World Cup at Fort William and a bunch of 4 of us were the only ones of the limited spectators that watched the XC to encourage the riders.. despite Kileen coming 4th .. probably best result for Britain since Gould and co. I spoke to one of the riders who informed me that the previous week at Houfalize in Belgium there had been 25,000 people going beserk at the action.. masybe this year?!
