.JPG) not quite as attractive as previous models and seemingly lacking in adjustability but i'm putting it on my 'to purchase' list.

 With you there cooky.
You think? That S-Works HT looks devastatingly attractive. KITT on two wheels.
i think m@'ll be after one of theose s-works HTs!
agreed, I dont like the looks of the new range, 2005 range looks far bettr...maybe curves are coming in and im just old fashioned.
 Nah, an Epic. ;-)

"That S-Works HT looks devastatingly attractive"
Haven't you just sold one Pad? ;-)
I think the big hit looks better to be honest the old models look good but these look more industrial. And £2000 grand for top end model comlete bargain just debating it against a custom built clifcat at the moment.
Seeing them has made me wish I'd stuck with the big S for my new bike purchase :-S I can always sell the Zen on eBay I suppose....
I like the look of them, but think the 05 S-works Epic has the edge looks wise. Not that i would consider trading mine in even if the 06 ones did look better.
oh, they're all much more attractive in real life, especially the stumpy
'seemingly lacking in adjustability' - what do you mean by this cooky?
anyone know if you can run 2 rings on the front of the new big hit??? also... what's the travel??
i'm considering an upgrade nxt year, and as the only 8 inch travel contender (my decided upon pre-requisite, dont ask, it just is!)i can find is a faith at 1Kish for the frameset the big hit looks like the one for me...
btw, am i right in assuming the horst/ four bar suspension means there is basically no brake jack?
ta.

.JPG) David, i was referring to the lack of shock mount holes on the frame and rocker link... my mate's 04 big hit has 3 on the frame to adjust shock leverage and 4 on the rocker for adjusting travel and head tube angle, the one pictured in the article has nothing adjustable about it. perhaps a pre production to show style?
.JPG) on closer inspection it looks like you can adjust the head angle/travel but not the leverage... not a huge loss after all then. :)
Wow, that new Stumpy FSR looks soooooo good. I can't justify spending the money on a new bike, i can't justify spending the money on a new bike, i can't....
;-)
 you can, you can... ;)
Hehe, well i don't actually have the money, so i don't really need to worry about that! :P
The Big Hit looks butt ugly though in my opinion. If i was building a DH bike, the old one would have been what i'd have gone for. Perhaps not so the new one. I wonder why Spesh moved away from monocoque construction?
Anyone know what the fsr xc is like? It looks too cheap to be a serious full sus, but then they say it has the same basic geometry as the stumpy fsr, so it cant be bad.... How do the stumpy fsr's compare in ride style with the the 2000 rockhoppers? I am thinking of upgrading, but dont want a flat back racer, which the HT stumpy basically is. Any ideas?
