What is this anti-stoking thing going on. Some people in the country like to use the word 'stoked' it invokes a sense of excitement and passion about their lives.

It is more common with coastal dwellers and this is probably because we get to experience 'stoke' on a first hand basis.

Don't touch what you don't understand you non-stokers.

I'd rather be stoked than bummed.

Stoked, as in "I was totally stoked....maaaaan!" is a term commonly used after one catches their first wave and subsequent rad waves.......

I myself have been stoked on a number of occasions whilst visiting the coast, and I am always on the lookout for more ways to get stoked....!
totally stoked dudes!

As a member of the anti-stoking league I think it is pathetic that the government has backed-down on its anti-stoking legislation and it will still be allowed in private clubs and pubs that don't serve food. When will people realise that stoking is the major cause of um... eh..., well it just shouldn't be allowed.

Neil, while we respect your position. Stoking has a long history in England. For generations stoking has been going on in the countryside and villages. England can not afford to loose such traditions.

In her Royal Majesty's Navy a 'Stoker' has a completely different meaning...

I've been 'stoked' on a number of occaisions and it bloody hurts!

If the word stoked was banned, Wade Simmons would effectively become a mute. He then wouldn't be able to command his dog and it might run out in front of stupidly big and thirsty Yank Tank driven by someone too fat and lazy to brake, thus killing the dog.

Keep the Stoke, you know it makes sense.

Hope Peaty doesn't read this, he'll think non of us give a crap!

Sad to see him let go of his roots. Perhaps I'm just too patriotic?

Show/hide user stats
Yeah, but it was nice that he being British rode a British steed.

Ah well, perhaps Orange prices will come down now they don't have to fun Peaty's drinking habits!
