Thanks guys, the Rennen conversion kit amazed me so much so I had to build a SS to try them out! :)

We're the one's bringing the FX bikes too in too! ;)

I think you should make it your policy to make anyone who buys an FX to sign something saying that if they ride it on mountain bike trails they will be strung up by the short anc curllies and shot.

;)

I reckon DMR didn't get down to the patent office quick enough as that Rennen set up looks the same as DMR's STS tensioner, freehub convertor looks the same as well.

Please don't bring in any FX Bikes. There's enough fookin hooligan crossers riding bridleways as it is.

I agree completely. The last thing we want is people ripping up our trails, however I think that the majority of people that can afford the kind of money that FX Bikes cost would have common sense and be a little more curteous and abide by laws keeping motorised vehicles away from the places we ride...

J D - The DMR Tension Seeker is quite different from the Rollenlager as is their Single Speed Spacer kit which is simply a set of spacers and not threaded like the Rennen Design one... :)

Hmmm look similar to me.

Use attaches with two bolts one in the dropout, and a roller at the end.

Don't want to be rude or anything but I think the Rollenlager DOES look similar to the DMR Simple Tension Seeker that I currently have on my bike........ (does look nice though!)

Yeah I guess they are similar although the DMR isn't a one piece design.

Dont worry about the FX it will probably be bought by chavs who will ride around the local playing fields.

Its the type of bike that just wont work over here.
Mainly because you will have to have a licence, insurance tax etc to ride it and it will only be legal on RUPPS etc, and anyone wanting to ride legal trails will buy a Honda CRF 250 X or a proper Enduro bike.

I agree with what you say regarding the legalities, however the main reason we actually import it into the UK is that we're currently looking at getting an MOD contract, as it certainly lends itself well to their needs. Also farmer types have expressed an interest too, so we'll see how it goes...

I have the same opinion as everyone else though, I think the last place we need to see these is on bridalways and other places where we ride.

MOD
what could they possibly want with a skinny 125cc bike.
I've ridden Armstrongs then XR400's in the desert for the army, surely they need a bike that can be dropped out of helicpoters and stuff then run over by a Foden and then start first kick.

Keep us posted, unless its classified.
If I was rich, I'd of already of ordered it and be chewing up the trails already :)

Sod getting fit, just twist my wrist :)

I can see the reason behind the MOD's interest - at that weight it would be available units that might not normally have access to motorisation (airborne units for example).

You mentioned its not going to be cheap, but what is it going to cost exactly?
5000Euro's more like 4000, dunno if that was the Ti or Cromo Version though.

Same ball park money as a nice FS bike really, but with more travel and a engine :)

Ohhh if I was rich :(

They start at £3990 with plenty of options.

110lbs, cant see the average bloke lifting that over much of a fence... i would find it difficult to lift over my head and i'm a fanatic on the weights.

If i was looking for a 'crosser that was a bit different and could ignore the fact there's cheaper out there i'd one of THESE . At least it might not upset as many people as its silent !
Nince find J D, silent sure makes the difference, use it pretty much anywhere :)

If you've not got to carry it over obstacles
