That bike looks 'fit!' And that's coming from a bloke who doesn't ride less than 6" of bounce!

how craps that!! its limited to 12 1/2 stone!! come on carbons far better than that. ive got a carbon full susser from 1999 that weighs about 26lb that laughs at my 14 1/2 stone.

I'd hope that a frame that weighed 50% more could cope with a rider that weighed 16% more ;-)

It's not actually that one that's limited to that anyway, most uber race-whippets will be less than 12.5 stone, and that's sqaurely where it's aimed. Seems to me they just have an excellent idea of their target market.

Good point, Nick, well spotted - it's the Race that's limited to 12.5 stone riders, and that's a 1kg frame (so actually Jeff's frame is at least twice as heavy as it). The 3.1 tested is good up to 120kg (nearly 19 stone)...

Which I think is bloody impressive for a carbon frame, when you think that sommat like a SC Blur XC is not recommended for people over 16 stone (hence no XL frames, if people wondered)
