I like the Stab Supreme, No gears-new for 2007!

Also How do the bikes stand up for the shots?

The gears are there - they've just airbrushed the chain to match the background and they're standing just out of shot holding the bike up with it.

there aren't any gears on the stab, you can see the hanger clearly

i reckon it'll be shod with some totally new stuff that's not meant to be released to the press yet, hence it not being there

a tough sram group perhaps?

Ahhh yes mike, US spec bikes always seem to have bb5/7's on them when the uk spec gets hydros...seems strange really,but i cant comment on the power of the Avids having not tried any my self.

ahem - actually the gears are there - you can see them in front of the rear brake rotor quite clearly. What's missing is the chain, and the derailleur(the bit that hangs from the hanger) - that's the bit that enables you to change between gears.

yes well i wonder if a tough Sram groupset can withstand a Mike beating?

The 2-9 has been out for a year in USA, how much is it? [it was 700$ there]. I can add hubb gears and a sus post and there's my dream bike

UK prices yet to be determined. But I can't see any reason why it should be any differently priced than the 26in Unit.

And bikes only have to stand up by themselves for about 1/500 of a second ;-)
