We've dried out, we've washed all our shorts and our legs don't hurt any more - time to look back at Bikemagic's TransWales experience

Definately seems like one that you would appreciate even more afterwards. I'd like a crack at it next year, is it true that theres going to be a Trans-Scotland ?

TransScotland is the plan Karlos. A very fair report from Mike that brought the memories 'flooding' back. :)

Get your act together BM. Your review of TransWales '06 is sooo behind everyone else and is inaccurate too.

4 pilots to mend one puncture - indeed. All four of those RAF boys work for a living and if you had noticed they were supporting/helping/aiding a lot of other riders in the event.

If you want to read an accurate BLOG of the entire event (that was up to date at the time of the event) then go to http://www.rafcycling.org.uk/transwales06blog.asp

Ah well, having a pop at BM makes a change from plugging www.britishtrails.co.uk on here Ged. There you are, I've done it for you. ;-)

Even the organisers of Transwales were teasing the RAF lads about their puncture mending abilities, 17 wasn't it? The guys took it well and as you say were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Smile, it doesn't hurt. :)

Did they have low level bombing flying bikes undetectable by radar ?

If not, why not ?

No, but we noticed some support jets flying around Cader Idris throwing out inner tubes.

Sense of humour not a requirement in Her Majesty's armed forces, Ged?

All four of those RAF boys work for a living

As does pretty much everyone else who was in the event. What's your point?

It just made us chuckle that we seemed to ride past the RAF lads about ten times a day while they fixed something, then came past us at supersonic velocities again, then stopped to fix something else.

If you'd actually bothered to read the article you'd have noticed that we said much worse about ourselves...

My point is - Officers don't work for a living.

Sense of humour - of course, it's needed as standard for being in the military. Yep 14 punctures is quite a lot.

Just thought it was a worthy rant against BM for a change.

Oh well, least you all know about BRITISHTRAILS - LOL ! It's new calendar is out and filling up fast don't you know.... ;-)

Top effort to everyone taking part tho'.
