Where's the wishbone stays?

says it all right there...

Well the Clockwork they hinted at last year was going to be a short travel full suss! They still don't have a proper full suss XC race bike.

Shocking to ride, yes, but a nice bike to look at!

I suspect things will have moved on in ride and looks since that one appeared.

Anyone got a pic of the original URT bouncy bike that Orange did. The X1, I think it was called. A donkey if ever there was one!

I think i've still got the x1 brochure kicking about somewhere... amid boxes of old mbuk's no doubt

There were three Orange FS bikes about at roughly the same time, weren't there? X-0, X-1, and the UFO (?) a huge polygonal monocoque-type thing welded out of flat plates - very moto. Biketreks tried to sell me one by pointing out the main bushing pivot was made with the same ceramic they use in Harrier Jumpjet aileron pivots. Oh aye? Do Jumpjets see much mud, then?

"Do Jumpjets see much mud, then?" Only when they crash due to bearing failure :-)

I'm waiting for the PACE full sus bike cant be bothered waiting for the Orange

I'd have one of them new Pace fullys too but they're only going to be offering them in 2 colours ( I think ).. And not particularly outstanding colours either...

Maybe I'll save up an extra couple of hundred and get some extra decals and a respray...
