I'm suffering from it and this just makes it worse!

It's a conspiracy I tell you!

Just ride a monocoque carbon bike for 100km off road and you'll find sex with your On-One all the more satisfying Alan. That one is particularly tempting for an extra-marital affair though.
That one of yours I had a brief go on felt OK

I think I'm drawn to anything that may involve a little discomfort to be overcome :)

Call me old fashoined but I still don't like the idea of a Carbon mountain bike. Yes I see the point, all light and racey but just seems ... wrong. And I live in Europe where they like thier Carbon. I'd be scared of the frame failing (I ride with little finesse).

Stevey Wevey - Carbon has come a long long way since the first time it appeared on the scene. Easton can make handlebars out of Carbon that are lighter than most XC bars and stronger than most DH bars for example.

I used to worry about it myself, and although I haven't got a Carbon frame, I've got carbon bits on my bike, and it gets a fair hammering and I'm 110% confident in it.

I think the only problem that Carbon has now is peoples perceptions of it.
