The Bike needs a clean ;)

All these zip ties has now given me the idea that I should really bring some with me when I ride. Currently I only bring multi-tool, pump and inner tube.

BTW it was F&*King freezing the night that happened and pitch black...typical, it didn't do my hub and freewheel bearings any favours either.

I like to keep my running gear nice and clean, Rock n Roll Extreme lube does the trick!

I just found this old pic. The rack mount sheared off the frame; this hose clip and gaffer tape bodge lasted the next 600+km to the end of the trip. I split a tyre sidewall the same day; gaffer tape to the rescue again, making a tyre boot that lasted two days until I scored a $2 Chinese bike tyre in a street market.

Off again in two weeks - for a three month trip on a bike with an utterly knackered drivetrain. I'd better start looking for zip-ties down the local market....
