Hubba hubba, now that's a lovely bike. Be even better if it had gears ;-)

 tis nice

I know of 2 girlies with Ti Mojos which still get used, one on a very regular basis. They really are gorgeous bikes, I used to really want my bosses one, now it just looks a bit dated, still got the 1998 SID Ti forks, and the 8 speed XTR group with the polished cranks.
Probably worth a fair chunk to the right person.
A Ti Mojo frame sold on eBay earlier in the year for £160, I got there too late to bid, gutted!

Lovely bike, but OMG, how long is your seat post!?!
Not long enough for me is the answer :/
I had a quick spin on Joe's bike on a ride in the Clwyds, its V-Very light and direct is the main impression. The welds are a thing of beauty :)
His other Ti Ibis is even more unusual :D
Thanks all, its a fab bike with or without gears.
The post is a moots ti post (one of the few that do a 28.6 mm post) and looks longer in the pic than it really is, the frame is a medium and I'm 5 foot 11 which makes it very 'huckable' on singletrack.
The only change I may make is to buy a ti white ind. freewheel.
And yes the fence needs painting! ;o)
Nigel - you're a lanky git but the other ti ibis would fit ya! ;o)
Mind, its just back from the bottom bracket hospital and feeling neglected in my cellar.
Lovely bike. 2.6lb incl headset & BB. Bloomin heck thats light isnt it.
Littlest Hobo, 2.9lbs and still going strong.
Do you ride the peak district? It reminds me of the kinda bike i see over there all the time. No fuss and as little to go wrong as little to go wrong as possible.
nah, never really done much in the peaks, local to me is north wales but me and the bike have done time in the rockies (great divide), germany, lakes, scotland and the north east/northumberland. I think the same rules apply for all these locations altho more gears for the rockies and scotland!
"nah, never really done much in the peaks" Well Joe we better sort that out this summer :)
What length are those pace forks? They look shorter than the current ones. Probably a good thing on that bike I suppose.
bog standard RC31's for 26 inch wheels.
Joe, I thought that they were older RC31s, so are probably 420mm long or shorter, rather than the current standard 440mm length? And they're definitely not bog standard, as they have a 1" steerer tube! :-)
It's a lovely bike. I wish it fitted me so I'd have been able to get more of a feel for its loveliness when I tried it, rather than just a feeling that it was too small.
 You sure it's got a 1" steerer? The 2 1997 Ti Mojos I know of have 1 1/8"
Its a 1995/6 pre production frame (AKA prototype), the RC31's are an inch steerer and 420mm from top of crown to dropout centres.
Ibis sent this frame out to MountainBike mag for a review and it was reviewed as a full bike with ti-dye titanium spokes. It got a rave review.
At the time there was some debate about what would be standard, inch or inch eigth. I dont mind the inch steerer as long as pace still keep making inch steerer forks but even if they dont I have some stealth RC38's for them sitting in my cellar so am not bothered.
Chris - think my other ibis fits you better.

Is that Joe that lived up Allendale way?: just that the bike looks familiar and the rider was called Joe. I still have my 1995 completely rigid Kona Lava Dome which is now my touring/road bike. I went off road a bit on it today and having done Ae (7Stanes) the day before on 6 inches of travel: well it hurt. It's amazing what we put up with for fun.

looks alright but isnt really my cup of tea
David - yep Allendale was a fab place to live mate.
