Haha. I gave my second MTB a very similar home paintjob back in about 1992, only mine faded to gold at the front too.

Wonder if he'll be wearing a polystyrene helmet and electric blue-striped bibs too?

Pretty much my thoughts Chaka! I also did a 'neon green' to white fade DIY paint job on a bike, but it was a Mongoose BMX in about 1986!

Exact replica of the Holts auto spray greenhouse gas spray can job we did on my mate's 'Rudi Altig' racer back in 84!
No matching colour shortie alloy mudguards on the Meta by the looks of things though....

Ruddy hell, I don't come on here for years and that's the best I can manage. Think it's time for a brew.
